"Overflow": Communicating telepathically with PROFESSOR XAVIER in the future, Wolverine learns that Africa is about to be wiped out – by STORM. The X-Men rush to Africa to find their friend, but the trouble has already begun. Possessed by a psychic entity known as THE SHADOW KING, Storm now thinks her homeland is burning, and is using the full scope of her powers to douse the flames. Wolverine must act quickly if he’s to prevent the destruction of an entire continent—but to stop Storm without hurting her, Wolverine will need to find a way to free her mind from Shadow King’s clutches."
The story begins as an explosive event shatters the lives of the X-Men and takes away their mentor, Professor X. The beaten heroes, including Beast, Storm, Cyclops and Nightcrawler, walk away from it all but then they are given a rare glimpse into the future, where they see a world in utter ruin-ruled by giant destructive robots. They discover the world has spiraled out of control because the X-Men have given up.
So now the most legendary of all X-Men, Wolverine, must take the lead on the ultimate mission--to prevent the world's destruction- while fending off enemies Magneto and The Brotherhood.
